In March of 2008 “Biocom” has launched into operation a milk replacer manufacturing factory.
The manufacturing equipment allows to produce whole milk replacers for agricultural animals, dairy-based concentrates for the production of mixed fodder, as well as vitamin and mineral additives, acidifiers, ferments for ensilage of feeds.
The project is being realized within the framework of memebership in the Free economy zone “Grodnoinvest”. Currently, it has no equals in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States in terms of technological supplying.
The equipment was supplied and the installation was supervised by the Dutch company Ottevanger Milling Engineers, one of the leading European companies in the field of development and production of equipment and complete factories.
The main objective set by the ltd “Biocom” is the output of high-quality, competitive products which conform to the constantly increasing requirements of the consumers (The Poilicy in the field of quality of the ltd “Biocom”).
The operation of the new factory presents doubtless advantages for the Belarusian economy, namely:
- Arrangement of manufacturing of products for cattle-breeding on a new quality level of the technological and scientific basis
- The manufacturing of products, suitable for substitution of imported goods, on the basis of local raw materials with quality showings similar to European products - Realization of the genetic potential of animals
- Increase of the volume of cattle-breeding products
- Shift to a high level of cattle-breeding products safety (growth stimulation without the application of antibiotics)
The production process is set up in such a manner that the production management is fully computerized and automatized, and can be conducted from one main computer. The control over the observance of the production workflow and the stage-by-stage realization thereof is also carried out by means of the main computer.
In January of 2009 a Belgian fully automatic bagging line, which allows to bag up to 10 tons of final product per hour, has been launched into operation at the factory.
The unique equipment and manufacturing technology allow to:
- introduce up to 140 components into the product.
- get product with a 99.8% degree of homogeneity. The technological process is set up vertically with loading from above, without any intermediate elevations – this prevents any form of product layering and allows to achieve the most even component distribution in the whole product.
- introduce liquid and dry components with a high degree of accuracy, e.g. pure vitamins, microelements or other biologically active substances. This allows to get well-balanced products with a precise content of each ingredient and realize requests for unique products, aimed at individual needs of particular farms.
- ensure the highest hygienic showings thanks to the application a pneumatic transport system, which excludes the possibility of dusting and spillage of the products.
The production process employs high-quality raw materials of local and foreign manufacturers. The calculation of the product recipes is carried out on the basis of the latest foreign scientific developments and the long-term experience in the field of agricultural animal feeding and disease prevention. The range of output products is the result of analysis of the needs of the Belarusian market regarding milk replacers, dairy-based concentrates and feed additives, aimed at the maximum conformity to the demands of the customers.
